Meet the Therapists

Erricker Lee

Founder of The Lee Way Therapy & Consulting, PLLC

Clinical Social Worker/Therapist MSW, LCSW-S

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience. I earned my bachelor’s degree in social work from Shaw University and my masters in social work from North Carolina State University. I completed my residency at Holly Hill Psychiatric Hospital in Raleigh, NC and later went on to practice in other hospital settings.

I am culturally diverse and specialize in anxiety, depression, bipolar, and self-esteem/self-confidence. I dedicated several years to community outreach and outpatient therapy helping the oppressed population. I have helped the homeless community with housing and benefit resources to help them reach their basic needs. Over the years, I have seen the impact of therapy and I have gained a passion for helping my community overcome life challenges and/ or trauma that impacted their ability to be the best version of themselves.

Through my passion for helping my community, it inspired me to open my own practice, The Lee Way Therapy and Consulting, PLLC in 2018 with a mission to strengthen, encourage and empower individuals. I believe that through therapeutic and motivational coaching, families and relationships can be strengthened and individuals can be encouraged to achieve their full potential. My goal is to strengthen, empower and encourage everyone to overcome their challenges.

My approach to therapy primarily revolves around Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). I have been trained in trauma focused counseling to include Seeking Safety and have attended different trainings in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. I have a 13-year-old son named Isaiah and 2 fur babies named Bubba and Carly. In my spare time, I love spending time with my son, walking my dogs and engaging in strength / circuit training.
